Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. A Jilly Family story. The Jillies start for Scotland but decide to leave the train when it is snowbound at Shap in Westmorland. Grey cloth with silver titles to spine. Colour frontis, b/w illustrations. 231 pages.

Second impression. Spine and corners bumped. Some slight fading to cover edges. Name and address in ink to top margin of title-page. Some light foxing. Small booksellers label to front pastedown. Dustwrapper is worn with loss at spine and corners and also a little grubby.
