Almost very good condition. Trade edition. Brown cloth. Gilt titles and decorations to spine and front cover. Cream and orange pictorial endpapers. Part of the trilogy of 'The Ring of the Niblung'. With a prelude by Richard Wagner. Translated into English by Margaret Armour. 34 beautiful tipped-in colour plates, covered with captioned tissue-guards. Text in a play format.
Spine and corners bumped. Covers marked and gilt on spine rubbed. Browning to endpapers and top of pages. Brown offsetting to some pages - where plates are tipped in. Some foxing mainly to page edges. A couple of plates have small corner creased otherwise all are in very good condition! All tissue-guards are present and are lightly browned.
