Expurgated edition. 12 b/w plates by Rackham. Green decorated cloth covers. 302 pages + 32 page publisher catalogue to rear. 7.5 x 5". Spine and corners bumped and slightly worn. Covers are a bit grubby. Prize plate to pastedown. Light page browning to contents. Some hinges cracked. Old tape repair (tape browned) to top corner of one page and also to margin of one plate which has been re-inserted.

A book of old favourites with new illustrations! Red cloth covers with orange vignettes and black titles and decorations. 8 colour plates plus b/w text illustrations. 286 pages. 8.5 x 5.5". Covers faded to spine and top front edge, front board stained. Browning to endpapers. Some browning/foxing to contents, one or two hinges pulled but binding tight. All plates present.

Foxing and a couple of damp marks to endpapers. Foxing also to outer page edges. Wrapper has a little purple pen to front panel, which has couple of closed tears. Some grubby marks also to wrapper.

A reproduction of the 1909 edition. Blue cloth, gilt titles and decorations. Colour plates. Top edge blue. A beautiful book. Fourth printing. Spine slightly faded (only noticeable when out of the slipcase). Headbands starting to come unglued but not affecting the casing. Contained in publisher's blue slipcase which is a little scuffed.

Large format. 36 tinted line-drawn plates and text illustrations. Brown cloth, gilt titles to spine; brick red titles and vignette to front cover. 144 pages. One of the more unusual Rackham items. Spine and corners are bumped and worn, splits in the cloth to the front edge of spine. Covers are rubbed. Name plate to front pastedown. Small ink blot to preliminary pages and some grubby fingermarks to page margins. Light page browning to free-endpapers.

There is light foxing to the text pages and also the tissue-guards. All the plates are fine.

Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Contents are browned (particularly to endpapers and plate mounts (plates themselves still bright). A couple of plates have light corner creases.
