Very good condition. The anonymous coninuation by Ellis Cornelia Knight of Samuel Johnson's Rasselas (1759). Re-bound in three quarter tan calf leather, raised bands to spine, red title label with gilt title to spine. Marbled paper boards. Vertical and lower edge of text block untrimmed. xii and 356 pages.
Modern binding is beautifully clean, bright and tight. New endpapers. Some minor foxing to the contents. Browning to text block and page edges. Overall a decent copy for a text of 240+ years old.
