Very good condition. Deluxe white binding with gilt titles and decorations to spine, gilt illustration to front cover. 24 tissue-guarded tipped-in colour plates, mounted on green card. 12 full-page b/w illustrations and other decorations. Top edge gilt, others uncut. Green pictorial endpapers.
Wear to a couple of tiny nicks to cloth at top and tail of spine. Some grubby marks to covers. Inscription in ink to free front endpaper. Foxing to endpapers, outer page edges and some pages internally. Contents page has corner creased. All plates are present and are in gorgeous condition!
