An exciting story set in Ludlow and Hereford. Blue boards, gilt titles. Colour frontis, b/w text illustrations. Endpapers are maps. 223 pages. Bumping to a couple of corners. Some browning along cover edges. Foxing to outer page edges and a few page margins. Inscription in ink to verso of frontis plate. Pictorial wrapper is edge-torn and chipped, with a couple of small pieces of loss, to top of front panel and top and tail of spine. Grubby marks to rear panel; edge-creasing.
