Very good condition. Contemporary three-quarters morocco, raised bands to spine and gilt title. Marbled boards, endpapers and text block. 60 hand-coloured lithographs. Printed title page. xvi and 311 pages including index.
Early reprint. Edges of boards rubbed with some slight loss of leather in places. Marbled boards are scratched and scuffed. Binding is lovely and tight. All plates present. Scattered foxing and grubby marks throughout also affects plates, some worse than others. Overall a desirable copy.
