Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
Three volumes. Green boards, gilt title to spine. Green pictorial endpapers. Colour plates. B/w photos. B/w text illustrations. New Edition revised by Blakelock. Small format. Series I is bound in lighter green cloth than series II & III. Series I is lightly faded at horizontal edges and is lightly bumped to base of spine. Minor foxing/browning to text blocks. Contents clean. Series I dustwrapper is affected by damp (crinkled and stained to verso). Edges of price-cut dustwrappers lightly worn with minor closed tears, Series II has a small chip to lower edge of front panel, tape repairs to verso.

Series II is a first printing 1941. Lower edge of boards of all three volumes lightly rubbed. Some corners lightly bumped. Text blocks lightly browned. Contents are generally clean, perhaps a few light foxspots present. Hinge pulled at page 97 of Series III. A nice set.

The area consists of the lower part of the Valley of the Wye, from Bigsweir Bridge southwards to the mouth of the river at Beachley. Green cloth boards, black title to spine. Folding b/w map of Chepstow area. vii and 140 pages. Boards are almost detached (just hanging on by a thread!). Corners of boards rubbed & worn. Annotation throughout. Map is present and clean, torn at a couple of folds (no loss).
