Hardback.
Very good condition in a poor dustwrapper.
Red cloth, gilt titles, vignette and border. Top edge gilt. Pink pictorial endpapers. Delightful b/w illustrations throughout. 103 pages. Spine bumped and slightly rubbed to head and tail, spine has faded patches to centre and base. Lower edge of rear cover is very slightly faded. Covers generally bright and clean. Previous owner's name in ink to half-title page. One hinge cracked. A few very light finger marks to page margins. The book itself is a nice, clean copy. Original wrapper is in two halves (detached along rear edge of spine), spine is browned and has 2.5" loss at top, 1" loss at centre and slight loss at base, also patch of loss to top corner of rear panel. The wrapper looks as though it was originally too small for the book (0.5cm too small along top edge).
