Slightly better than good condition. Orange cloth with gilt title to spine and gilt decoration to front cover. 8 colour plates plus numerous b/w illustrations. 358 pages. All edges gilt.
Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Spine browned and gilt dulled. Rear cover grubby, front cover slightly grubby. Front joint and a few hinges cracked. Brown spot affects bottom edge of pages 125 - 132. A few fox spots to endpapers. Some light browning to endpapers and page edges. Contents very good, just an odd fingermark. All plates present.
