Almost very good condition. Orange cloth with gilt title to spine and gilt decoration to front cover. 8 colour plates plus numerous b/w illustrations. 358 pages. All edges gilt.
Spine is browned with a few small nicks to cloth at top and tail. Light bumping to corners. Some grubby marks to covers. Front joint is partially cracked. Foxing and browning; heaviest to endpapers; margin marks throughout. Hinges/gatherings are pulled in some places, so stitching can be seen. Appears that there is a repair between pages 112/113
