Slightly better than good condition. Pale yellow cloth with elaborate gilt design to front cover and gilt title to spine. Black endpapers. B/w plates and woodcuts to text. 321 pages. All edges gilt.
Some bumping and wear to spine, corners and cover edges. Covers grubby and some of gilt dulled. Top 2" of front joint cracked, rear joint just starting to crack, one hinge cracked, binding is firm. Evidence of label removed from front pastedown, small bookseller's label to bottom edge. Name in ink to half-title page. Contents very good, just an odd mark. Tissue-guard to frontis foxed.
