Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. Buttercup was so fat she couldn't fly to the Pixie Wood for the King's party, it might have been a tragedy but everything ended as happily as possible! The second in this series of picture books. Pale blue-green pictorial boards. Bright colourful pictures every page. Absolutely delightful!
Spine and corners bumped. Some slight fading to lower edge of front cover. Endpapers are partly browned/foxed. One gather of pages (4 leaves) has become detached from the binding but all pages still present. Dustwrapper is slightly edge worn and lightly browned at edges, a few small scratch marks to edge of front panel and tiny black spots to lower edge of rear panel. A nice copy of the 3rd impression.
