Very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. Translated from the French by A.E. Johnson and others. Contains 14 tales. Blue boards with gilt titles to spine and vignette to front cover. B/w illustrations. 184 pages.
Corners bumped. Slight fading to top and bottom edges of spine and top of front cover. Light browning to endpapers and some erased numbers on front endpaper. Small red mark and a few fox spots to text block. Some grubby fingermarks to margins but most pages clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn and chipped. Spine browned, sides worn, small hole and with a little loss from top. White labels stuck to verso at top of spine and rear fold to strengthen/repair. Also foxed and a little grubby.
