Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. Burgundy imitation leather boards with gilt titles, gilt vignette to front. 22 colour plates and 130 text figures. Top edge red. Larger format for this series... 8.75" x 6". Includes a companion vinyl record "Songs of the British Grasshoppers & Crickets".
Top front corner of board lightly bent. Rubber stamped black symbol to front pastedown. Text block lightly browned. One or two light margin marks else contents clean. Price-cut pictorial dustwrapper is edge-rubbed and worn with loss - large piece of loss to top front panel affects the title. Companion record is NOT included (is MISSING).
