New Naturalist series. Green buckram cloth. 4 coloured photographic plates. 10 b/w plates. 22 half-tone plates and 116 text figures. ISBN: 0002195585. Something small stuck behind front pastedown causing a small indentation to first few pages. Top edge of text block lightly browned with a few foxspots. A few pages have foxing to top margin. Pictorial dustwrapper is faded to spine (as is usual) with a small nick to either side of top of spine, rear panel lightly browned.
New Naturalist No. 29. Green cloth, gilt titles. Two colour photos and 87 b/w photos. Board corners lightly bumped. Green cloth boards have faint uneven fading (minor). Minor foxing to prelims and text block. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn, slightly faded to spine, top 1.5" of spine has been torn off and re-stuck together with clear tape to verso, loss to top front panel, a few marks present.
Red suede limp boards, gilt title to spine. All edges gilt. Printed on thin tissue paper. lix and 483 pages including subscribers list to rear. Spine slightly faded, boards a little grubby. Minor nibble to lower corner of text block. Book plate to front pastedown. Front hinge starting to pull but binding tight.
