Good condition. Red cloth with gilt titles and vignette to front cover. B/w illustrations by Millar and colour decorations by Granville. 290 pages. Top edge gilt, others untrimmed.
Spine and corners bumped and worn, spine discoloured with a few small holes at edges from wear. Some light discolouration to top corner of rear cover. Inscription in ink to half-title. Most of the tissue-guards have been removed. There is foxing throughout and some light fingering. There are damp marks to edges of the endpapers. Some hinges have been pulled. A couple of pages have slightly ragged edges. This is still a decent copy of a very scarce book.
