Red cloth with gilt titles and vignettes to front and spine. 333 pages plus 2 page booklist to rear. Top edge gilt. B/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped. Covers slightly grubby and slight fading to spine. Foxing to endpapers. Evidence of erased pencil markings to front free-endpaper. Some light fingermarks to page margins, generally very clean.
Red cloth, gilt title to spine and vignette to front cover. Top edge gilt. 20 b/w plates. 306 pages. Bumping and wear along cover edges and to corners. Large split along cloth at back of spine; a little fraying; spine is also browned. Some marks and spots to covers. Name and date in ink to front pastedown. Foxing and browning to endpapers and outer page edges.
Orange cloth with black and gilt titles. B/w frontis and plates. 192 pages. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed, covers slightly grubby. Endpapers browned. Foxing to textblock. Light musty smell to contents.
Orange decorative cloth. B/w illustrations. Cloth covers are still lovely and bright! Tape glue marks to endpapers. Page edge browning and foxing. Still has original (scarce) wrapper - which has some browning and a few nicks to edges.

First story A Couple of Guineas. Spine and corners bumped, cover edges rubbed. Name plate to front pastedown (name not filled in). Foxing, mainly to textblock. Tobacco smell to contents.
Green cloth with gilt titles to spine and front cover. Pictorial onlay to front cover. 4 tipped-in colour plates. B/w illustrations. SIGNED by author, with dedication to a previous owner to front endpaper. Also includes a hand written postcard from the author to the same previous owner. Chipping along bottom of spine; some fraying/loss to cloth. Bumping to corners. A few marks to covers. Some foxing. What look like browned glue marks to pastedowns. All plates present.

Some light wear to cover edges. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Some foxing and browning; a few grubby margin marks. Wrapper is chipped to corners, with a little loss; some grubby marks.
Green pictorial cloth. Colour frontis and b/w plates. Fade spots to spine. A few marks to covers. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Foxing to outer page edges.
