Slightly better than good condition. Red cloth, black titles. Large colour pictorial onlay to front cover. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations. 216 pages. 2nd edition.
Spine and corners bumped and worn. Staining to rear board. A little scuffing to pictorial onlay. Covers grubby. Front and rear joints cracked. Inscription in ink to front pastedown and name and address in ink to front endpaper and to half title page. Some of the colour from the boards has leached onto top of first and last couple of pages. Foxing throughout and some fingering. Letter 'O' on page 44 has been coloured in black crayon. Corner torn off the bottom of one page. A few small margin tears.
