Small booksellers sticker to front pastedown. Light page browning throughout. Dustwrapper is slightly edge rubbed, slightly grubby to rear panel and lightly browned to spine.

Green boards with gilt titles and vignette of William to spine. 191 pages, top edge green. B/w text illustrations. Minimal bumping to spine. Foxing to textblock. Dustwrapper is slightly edge rubbed.
Red cloth, black title to spine. 256 pages. B/w illustrations. Top and tail of spine and lower corner of front cover bumped. Some light foxing. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is slightly chipped at spine and corners with slight loss nad some rubbing/light creasing at edges.
Original publisher's burgundy leather binding with gilt titles and vignettes, top edge gilt. Green marble-effect endpapers. 248 pages, 4 page adverts at rear. B/w illustrations. 6th impression of the first edition. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Front edge of spine is starting to split. Foxing to contents. A nice copy with very scarce binding.

Beautifully rebound with red leather spine (raised bands and gilt titles) and corners, red cloth covers, top edge gilt. Original front cover and spine are bound in at back of book. Light foxing, mainly to prelims.
Red cloth black title to spine. 252 pages. B/w illustrations. Spine bumped. Foxing to textblock. Dustwrapper is edge worn with some white paper reinforcements on verso, some of which have been coloured on the front to colour match tiny missing pieces.

Dustwrapper is worn and torn with loss at base of spine and lower edge of front panel. Large tears and creases to rear panel which is also a bit grubby. There is surface paper damage to both of the dustwrapper flaps.
