Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. The 6th adventure of the Famous Five. Timmy is in trouble, there are strangers on the island and a secret tunnel under the sea. Red boards. Blue and black pictorial endpapers. 192 pages. B/w and two-colour illustrations.
Spine and corners are bumped. Inscription in ink to prelim. Foxing mainly to page edges. Dustwrapper is grubby and edgeworn with tears and a little loss. Small piece of front flap is missing.
