Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. The 6th adventure of the Famous Five. Timmy is in trouble, there are strangers on the island and a secret tunnel under the sea. Red boards. Blue and black pictorial endpapers. 192 pages. B/w and two-colour illustrations.

Slight bumping to spine and corners. Spine a little faded at top and bottom. Foxing to some pages otherwise contents generally clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn, creased and torn with loss to top and bottom of spine and top of rear panel. Large vertical tear to front panel which has been mended on verso with tape - possibly the wrapper is in two pieces. Two small pieces of tape on verso covering tears between front flap and panel. Large tear also between spine and rear panel. Spine is faded and browned. Some foxing to verso.
