Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. The first book about the quaint little engine and its driver. Red cloth spine. Pictorial boards. Colour illustrations.
Spine bumped, corners slightly worn. Tear to top and bottom of gutter on endpapers where stitching has broken. Otherwise binding sound. Covers and contents bright and clean. Matching pictorial wrapper is creased, worn at edges with very slight loss at corners and a closed tear repaired on verso at base of spine.
