Very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. Red cloth, gilt title to spine and front cover. B/w text illustrations. 184 pages. The 2nd book of the adventures of Jo, Bessie, Fanny and Dick in the queer lands at the top of the Faraway Tree.
Bumping to spine, corners and edge of front board. A few grubby marks to rear board. Front joint is beginning to crack. Name and date in red pen to top of front endpaper. Small tear to front pastedown. Crease to bottom corner of title page. A little foxing to pages edges. Small mark to page 139. Contents otherwise very good. Dustwrapper is edge worn and creased with some tears. Loss to top of spine and rear panel has been disguised by part of photocopy of wrapper placed behind.
