Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. Originally written under the pen-name of Mary Pollock in 1940, this edition re-issued in 1949. Green cloth, cream titles. B/w text illustrations. 96 pages.
Ink inscription to front endpaper. Faint grubby marks to rear endpapers. A couple of pen marks to text block. Text pages clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with a little loss from ends of spine and folds. Panels slightly grubby, pale browning to spine and folds. Cup ring and some browning to verso.
