Blue cloth spine with gilt title, pale blue boards with gilt title and vignette to front. Colour plates and text illustrations. 156 pages. First story is "One Christmas Eve". Boards faintly browned at edges. Name in ink to top of title page. One or two finger marks to contents (minor). Text block lightly browned. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn and creased, some light fading, a few closed edge-tears.

Large format. Glazed pictorial boards. Colour & b/w illustrations. Front cover shows children running into the sea at the beach. First story is 'A Wizard Goes Flying' by Cayley. Splits to top and tail of spine, with chipping. Bumping to corners. Some loss to laminate to top of front cover. Dot-to-dot completed in ink. Name and address in pencil to belongs to page. Foxing and browning.
Red boards, black title to spine. B/w illustrations. 184 pages. Page edge browning. Wrapper is edge-creased with scuffing and wear; a few nicks and chips; some grubby marks.
Smaller format. Stiff card covers. Picture to front cover. Sunbeam Stories Series. 4 colour plates. B/w illustrations. Some light wear and marks to covers. A little chipping to spine. Foxing to outer page edges and a few internally.

Green cloth spine, red boards with gilt titles. Colour plates and illustrations. Spine and corners bumped. Light marks to front cover. Light foxing to textblock. Dustwrapper is worn at spine and folds, creased and torn to rear panel. There are tape repairs on the verso of the wrapper.
A story about a family. Green boards, dark blue titles. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations. Pale green stain to a few pages at gutter edge mostly. Minor foxing to text block and prelims. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge-rubbed with a few small chips and closed tears.
Sunbeam Stories for young children series. Small format (5.5 x 3.75"). Yellow pictorial boards. 64 pages. 4 colour plates plus b/w text illustrations. All edges yellow. Spine is a bit worn and slightly faded. A few marks to covers. Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. 4 colour plates are all present.

New Edition. A delightful collection of short stories. Lovely pictorial boards, blue cloth spine. Decorated endpapers. Colour illustrations throughout. 60 pages. 10 x 7.5". Top of spine and lower corners bumped. Top half of spine is marked (water stained?). Light browning to endpapers. Surface paper damage to pages 26 and 27, assume they have been stuck together, about 15 words of text affected. Rest of contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn, light browning to flaps. Colours still bright.
Originally written under the pen-name of Mary Pollock in 1940, this edition re-issued in 1949. Green cloth, cream titles. B/w text illustrations. 96 pages. Ink inscription to front endpaper. Faint grubby marks to rear endpapers. A couple of pen marks to text block. Text pages clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with a little loss from ends of spine and folds. Panels slightly grubby, pale browning to spine and folds. Cup ring and some browning to verso.

Foxing to endpapers and outer page edges. Wrapper is edge-creased with a few edge-tears and chips; a little loss, mostly to corners. Spine is faded.
Blue boards, black titles and vignette to front. B/w illustrations. Spine very slightly bumped. Fading to spine and to front cover edges. A few light fingermarks to page margins and a couple of page corners creased. Dustwrapper has large vertical tears across both panels and has been repaired with 'magic tape' (on front), there is a small piece of loss to lower edge of front panel. The wrapper has been neatly mounted onto stiff paper. A scarce Blyton in decent condition.
