Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper.
Green boards with red titles to spine and front cover. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations. 255 pages. Light bumping to top and tail of spine. Marks with some browning to outer page edges. Wrapper is creased with tears and chips; a little loss; some grubby marks and surface paper damage to rear panel.

- When Vernon-Smith, the Bounder of the Remove dropped a bombshell by announcing that he was going to cut the Courtfield soccer match, Harry Wharton, Captain of the Remove, was in a spot. Strong opposition from his form-mates forced Smithy to change his mind, but by then Wharton was too angry to take him on again. That set the team against their captain and several refused to plat in the match; which is how Billy Bunter stepped into the team. Not unnaturally Grey friars suffered a resounding defeat.
