Almost very good condition. 10 short stories. 10 colour plates including frontis. Cream cloth boards, green titles, large pictorial onlay to front cover shows young boy picking a rose up from the road that has been dropped by a young girl clutching a handful of roses. Green & white fairy ring to endpapers. B/w illustrations to margins. 101 pages. First story is The Golliwog's Lesson.
Spine and corners bumped, a couple of small dents to cover edges. Spine is bumped and rubbed. Damp stains to edge of front cover. Tiny piece of loss to top corner tip of front free-endpaper. A couple of small margin tears to prelims. Light foxing to prelims and textblock. Some grubby fingermarks and some large foxspots to pages but generally contents clean.
