Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. The story of a five-year-old salmon and his friends, beginning when they come into the estuary in early spring, a crescendo of adventures, excitements and endurances. Brown cloth with gilt title and small vignette to spine. Blue maps for endpapers. 7.5 x 5".
Spine and corners bumped. Covers slightly edge rubbed. Inscription in ink to front fly-leaf. Pale page browning to endpapers. Top edge of textblock (which is dyed pink) has partially faded. Dustwrapper is edge worn with small chips and a larger tear to lower edge of rear panel. Verso of wrapper is lightly browned/foxed.
