Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper.
Series Neriiflorum-Thomasonii, Azaleastrum and Camtschaticum. The third volume of a major work distinguished by its breadth and thoroughness. The core of the book is a list of Elepidote Rhododendrons in their series, a key to the Series and Subseries, and full descriptions of each species. The key provided int he book should make it possible for any grower to identify with reasonable accuracy every species in cultivation. Green paper boards, gilt title to spine. B/w drawings, colour photos. 381 pages including index. ISBN: 0713437472. Light rubbing to lower edge of boards. Text block a little grubby. Minor foxing to endpapers. Contents clean. Green pictorial dustwrapper is lightly scuffed, light wear to top of spine with a couple of tiny nicks.
