Fair condition. Red cloth with gilt and black titles and decorations. All text block edges gilt. B/w illustrations and plates. 761 pages.

Spine worn with some surface loss at top and bottom. Spine split for about 3" from top on rear edge. Corners and cover edges bumped and worn. Some marks to covers. Front joint is broken. Rear joint and one hinge starting to crack. Ink inscription to prelims. Some foxing but otherwise contents generally clean.
