Spine and corners bumped. Some marks to covers and some creasing to the cloth. Large name and address written in felt-tip pen to front free-endpaper. Endpapers lightly browned.

Stories and rhymes with b/w illustrations. Rear cover is a little grubby. Covers slightly edge rubbed. Split to lower 2" of spine. Some slight fingering to page margins.

Illustrated with Wood Engravings by various artists selected by Simon Brett. Slight bump to top edge of spine. Some pages have a light top corner crease. Contained in publisher's slipcase in very good condition, a few light scuffs.
Introduction by Stallworthy. Dramatic olive-green and black pictorial cloth. B/w illustrations. Third printing. Contained in publisher's slipcase in almost fine condition (a few scuffs).
Blue cloth spine, with gilt title. Blue paper boards with elaborate gold pattern. B/w engravings. Top edge speckled blue. Slip case is very good - has a few marks.
Red cloth, b/w vingettes and gilt titles to front and spine. Floral endpapers. B/w illustrations to text throughout. 564 pages. 32 page catalogue to rear dated February 1882. Spine and corners bumped. Spine slightly faded. Splash mark to front cover. Inscription in ink to top margin of title-page. Foxing and a light musty smell to contents.
