Nearly fine condition in a nearly fine dustwrapper. The Great Wood of Caledon was a huge native forest which extended across most of northern Scotland and was home to wolves, lynx, wild boars and brown bears. Today the remnants are still the largest area of continuous old forests in Britain. Large format. Pictorial glazed boards. Colour photos and illustrations.
SIGNED by author Hugh Miles with dedication to title page. Minor foxing to top edge of text block. Pictorial dustwrapper is lightly scuffed to rear panel.
