Good condition. Tales for Children from Many Lands series. Green cloth covers with gilt titles and elaborate decoration to spine and front cover. Onlay to front cover. Edited by Tilney. 19 tales. 8 colour plates plus a few small b/w illustrations. 126 pages.
Ex-library with library plate to front pastedown and ink stamps to endpaper but no other evidence. Spine split along rear edge for almost full length, also bumped, worn and darkened. Corners bumped and worn. Onlay scuffed. Rear cover marked. Endpapers browned, prelims grubby, contents fingered but many pages are clean.
