Almost very good condition in a good dustwrapper. How bees give each other exact information about the direction and distance of a source of honey by means of 'dances'. Translated from the 5th, entirely revised German edition of Aus dem Leben der Bienen, 1953. Black cloth, gilt title to spine. 30 b/w plates plus 61 line illustrations.
Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Uneven fading and some spotting to covers. Foxing to endpapers, outer page edges and some page margins. Wrapper is browned to spine, with edge-tears and chips; some small pieces of loss to top and tail of spine and at corners.
