Good condition. Black cloth, gilt title to spine and large pictorial onlay to front. Pictorial endpapers. 9 colour plates. xii and 339 pages.
Boards a little marked & rubbed at corners. Rear spine edge starting to split. '19 Nov 1953' rubber stamped in ink to front endpaper. Name & class in ink to first blank page. Foxing throughout and a general grubby appearance of contents. All plates present. Last few pages of book were untrimmed and have been opened carelessly with loss to vertical margins (text not affected).
