Brown cloth, gilt titles and vignette to front cover. 20 beautiful tipped-in colour plates. 319 pages. Published for Boots The Chemist. Spine bumped, corners slightly rubbed. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Some light foxing to contents. Plates all present and in fine condition. Dustwrapper is a bit grubby and edge rubbed, minimal loss at corners and a few tape repairs on verso.
Green decorative cloth with gilt titles to spine and front cover. Bevelled edges. 5 b/w plates and b/w text illustrations. 267 pages, top edge gilt. Floral decorated endpapers. Spine and corners bumped and slightly rubbed. Endpapers and first and last pages browned. Heavy foxing to textblock, affecting some page margins.
