A Christmas Morality. Pretty cream pictorial boards. Gilt titles. 8 colour plates mounted on grey captioned card. 175 pages. 8.75 x 6.5". Spine and corners bumped. Covers ever so slightly grubby. Name plate to front pastedown. Heavy foxing throughout and endpapers slightly browned. Plates present and in fine condition.

Lucas Malet
Lucas Malet was the pseudonym of Mary St Leger Kingsley (4 June 1852 — 27 October 1931), a Victorian novelist. Of her novels, The Wages of Sin (1891) and The History of Sir Richard Calmady (1901) were especially popular.
