Almost very good condition. Tan cloth, elaborately decorated, gilt titles. Title page reads Fairy Tales by the Countess D'Aulnoy translated by J.R. Planche. With 60 illustrations by Gordon Browne and 12 chromolitho plates. 468 pages.
Spine bumped, worn and darkened. A little wear to corners and cover edges. Ink inscription to front endpaper. Contents very good, just a little foxing and browning, mainly to endpapers and prelims. All colour plates present, a couple have small light patches, look like they've been slightly stuck to page opposite although there is no evidence of this.
