Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. The story of a young boy nicknamed Carrots due to his red hair. The book focuses on Carrots' experiences and adventures, highlighting his personal growth, the challenges he faces, and his interactions with family and friends. Blue cloth with gilt title to spine; blue decorations to front cover. 7 b/w plates. 241 pages plus publisher advert to rear.

A few minor marks to boards. Spine is leaning. Text block is browned/dusty. Hinge between page 198 and 199 is pulled but binding is tight. A few scattered foxspots present. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn and torn with slight loss, spine is sunned/faded, a little browned and grubby.
