Cream cloth, gilt titles, pictorial front cover and spine. 8 colour plates. 271 pages. Light knocks to spine and cover edges; a few marks. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. Foxing to various degrees through book, but heaviest to prelims, last pages and outer page edges/margins. Wrapper is faded to spine with tears and chips; some loss; white marks to rear panel.

Orange decorative cloth, gilt title to spine. 7 b/w plates. 191 pages plus 55 page publishers booklist. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Fading to spine. Some marks, especially to rear cover. Foxing and page browning.
Red cloth decorated. 196 pages and adverts and catalogue to rear. B/w illustrations. Bumping and wear to spine and corners. Darkening to spine and cover edges. What appears to be decorative initials in ink to half-title page. Browning and grubby marks to outer page edges. A few hinges are a little pulled.
A Child's Romance. Red cloth with black vignette of girl looking behind a curtain. Black endpapers. Eight b/w illustrations by Crane, seven of which are full page. 237 pages plus catalogues. 7 x 4.5". Dated from catalogue at rear (May 1885). Spine is a bit cocked and browned; bumping and wear. Corner are bumped. Front joint is weak and cracked - can see webbing through; some hinges internally are pulled. Rear joint also a bit cracked. Page edge browning.
Orange cloth wtih black decorations, gilt title to spine. 182 pages plus 2 page booklist to rear. 7 full-page b/w illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and rubbed. Some slight fading to spine and cover edges. Ex-libris plate (small) to front pastedown. Ink address stamp to front free-endpaper. Small booksellers sticker to centre of rear pastedown. Endpapers are foxed. Slight musty smell to contents.
