Good condition. Cream paper boards with red title to front, illustration of cat holding a kitten and rocking three kittens in cradle to front. Many b/w illustrations on Wain's anthropomorphic animals especially cats.
Boards are edge worn with some slight loss of surface paper. Inscription in ink to top margin of title-page (dated 1902). Some small margin tears and one page has a large repaired tear (very neat repair). Small patch of surface paper loss to lower edge of one full-page b/w illustration. Light vertical crease to one page. Generally a very decent copy of a scarce book.
