Large format. Cloth spine, pictorial boards show children drawing on blackboard. First story is "The Elf-Girl and the Prince". Pretty colour plates by Temple. B/w illustrations throughout including one small picture by Wain featuring 3 cats in the sea. Bumping and wear to corners and cover edges. Inscription in ink to belongs to page. Foxing to outer page edges and a few page margins. Wrapper is creased with a few large tears and chips; only a little loss to a couple of corners and top of spine.

Includes two stories "The Monkey That Would Not Kill" and "Gum". Blue cloth with gilt titles and vignette to front cover. 16 full-page b/w plates. 115 pages, all edges gilt. Bumping and wear to spine and corners; some browning and wear to spine. Uneven fade marks to edges of rear cover. Name to front endpaper. Foxing and browning to endpapers, outer page edges and a few page margins. A few grubby marks.

Munster Fairy Tales For Young And Old. 3 stories. Green cloth, gilt title and border. Attractive b/w plates, some cats but not in Wain's usual anthropomorphic style. xiii + 78 pages. What appears to be 'repairs' to top and tail of spine. A few small splits/nicks to spine, with a little fraying to cloth. Uneven fading to covers. Corners are bumped, with wear. A couple of score marks to rear cover. Margin tear to front endpaper, which also has a couple of partially erased children's names. Foxing. B/w illustration to page 54 has some colouring to it.

Oblong format, purple card wraps. Colour and b/w illustrations. An essay written some time between 1947 and 1951 but not accepted for publication. The essay is presented alongside a Louis Wain Exhibition held in the Victoria and Albert Museum during December and January 1972-73. The text of 1947-51 was slightly revised in 1959. This edition of the text has been corrected, and altered but is substantially as it was in 1951. ISBN: 090148654X. Minimal rubbing to corners of covers. Foxing to contents.

2 annuals bound together in soft red leather with gilt title to front. B/w illustrations throughout the 1902 annual and tinted illustrations to the 1905 annual. 112 and 112 pages. Slight rubbing to spine and corners. A couple of light marks to front cover. Foxing and some light page browning throughout. Title-page of 1905 annual has a 2" closed tear at top edge. Musty smell (tobacco?) to contents. A nice copy of these two annuals bound together.
