- The Three Jays set out on their ponies for the New Forest. Pat was rather concerned about the venture because she was responsible for their safety and so many things could go wrong on a three-day ride. Soon they were on their way, loaded with pup tents, rations and spare clothes. If they hadn't met the gipsies in the New Forest all might have been well.
