Very good condition. The second of the two volumes making up the trilogy of The Ring Of The Niblung. Brown cloth, gilt decorations to spine and front cover. 30 magnificent tipped-in colour plates which display the Germanic inspiration evident in Rip and Midsummer Night's Dream and continuing through Undine and the Wagner books. Orange and cream pictorial endpapers. Top edge brown. 182 pages.
Spine and corners bumped with wear to top of spine. Spine slightly faded. Endpapers lightly browned. There is some very slight surface paper damage to top edge of plate opposite page 4 (where tissue-guard was stuck). All other plates present and in fine condition. Some light foxing. A nice copy.
