The story begins with an old lady watching the snow start to fall on Christmas Eve, and she remembers. She's the only one left who remembers. Purple cloth with gilt title to spine and vignette to front cover. Purple and white decorated endpapers. B/w wood engraving illustrations. 70 pages.
SIGNED by the author (no dedication) to title page. Boards clean and bright. Minor corner crease to a couple of pages else a lovely copy contained in publisher's red card slipcase with very light wear.
