Slightly better than very good condition in a good dustwrapper.
The tale of a lovely medieval castle and its chatelaine. Yellow cloth, blue titles to spine. B/w illustrations. Spine and corners slightly bumped and rubbed. Contents very good indeed. Price-cut wrapper is browned to spine, rubbed at folds and has slight loss at top and tail of spine and corners and a couple of old tape marks to front panel.

B/w illustrations. 254 pages. 7.5 x 5". Corners bumped. Name in ink to front endpaper. Pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn and chipped, slightly faded to spine, foxed to verso.

Very good condition.
Needham's last book - it was never previously published and due to the bad handling of the publishers rejection Needham never wrote again. Large format. Blue cardwraps with black title to spine and front cover. 133 pages. Mostly unedited from the author's original manuscript (a few grammar errors and renumbering of chapters). Slight rubbing to spine and corners. A few very small marks to rear cover. Foxing to contents. Top corner tips are lightly creased. Contents clean.

Covers are foxed. A little pen scribble to top of front endpaper. Endpapers a little browned. Top edge of textblock dusty. Dustwrapper is edge worn, creased and chipped with small area of loss to top of rear panel. Wrapper is grubby.

Price-cut wrapper is edge chipped with some loss; patch of surface damage to front panel, and scuffing to folds and edges.
