Very good condition in a almost very good dustwrapper. A book about unspoilt countryside. In a lonely half-ruined cottage, with neither road nor footpath connecting it with human habitation, the author spends a year working among the wild creatures and plants which surround him. Green cloth, gilt title to spine. B/w photos. 163 pages plus publisher adverts to rear.

Pictorial dustwrapper is edge-worn and scuffed with slight loss of surface paper to spine edges, is browned and has tape mark to rear panel.
