Brown cloth covers with cream cloth spine extending to margin of covers. Brown title to spine. 14 full page b/w plates plus head pieces, insets and tail pieces. 286 pages. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Crease to top corner of rear cover. Covers grubby and marked. Rear joint starting to crack, a few hinges cracked but binding is firm. A couple of pencil numbers to front endpaper and grubby fingermarks. A few marks to contents but many pages are clean. A couple of margin tears including one to b/w plate.

A little bumping and wear to spine and corners. Fading to top and bottom of spine. One hinge cracked. A couple of marks to text block and top edge is grubby. Contents very good just a little light foxing. Dustwrapper has loss from ends of spine and large split to front edge, all repaired on verso with tape, some tape now yellowed. Ends of folds chipped. Spine very browned. Panels a bit grubby, some foxing. Bottom 0.5" and corner cut from front flap.
