Good condition. Red cloth with beautiful gilt illustration to front cover and highly decorated spine. 12 superb colour plates plus 16 black-and-red plates and numerous b/w text illustrations. Large format. All edges gilt.
Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers marked. Name in ink to front pastedown. Two inscriptions in ink (to different people) to verso of front free-endpaper. Hinges are cracked. There is foxing to the contents. Page corners are lightly creased throughout.
